Steve Jobs told Samsung to not infringe the patent, offered License Patent

According to Apple Senior Vice President Scott Forstall, the company explicitly requested that Samsung not copy its rubber banding patent. Yet, following the introduction of the iPhone in 2007, that’s exactly what followed.

During Forstall’s deposition on Tuesday, the Apple SVP told a jury that Steve Jobs expressly and unambiguously stated, “Here’s something we invented. Don’t — don’t copy it. Don’t steal it.”

The YouTube app gets out of iOS!

Apple released the fourth beta version of iOS 6 and now we’re starting to see some of the changes. The most noticeable difference right now is that Apple has apparently completely removed the native YouTube application from iOS 6. That’s insane, especially since it has been a staple feature on the iPhone for the past 5 years. Apple has already removed the Google Maps system, and replace it by Apple Maps (as we call it "iMaps"), so we’re wondering if this is another sign of a growing rif...
